Paige Shepley has over 20 years of experience providing case management and benefits counseling in a wide variety of settings. She has worked with domestic violence victims, persons with HIV, individuals experiencing homelessness, substance abuse, mental illness, and physical and intellectual disabilities. She has been certified as a Social Security benefits counselor since 2011. She has extensive experience working with clients during the whole process of applying for disability, including helping clients fill out Social Security paperwork, working closely with attorneys to help clients get approved for benefits, testifying in Social Security hearings, and has been a representative payee for clients needing assistance with managing their benefits.

In addition to working with Social Security beneficiaries, Ms. Shepley also works with individuals who receive supported employment services through the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) and the Behavioral Health Administration (BHA). As a benefits counselor, Ms. Shepley works collaboratively with Division of Rehabilitation Services (DORS) counselors, Supported Employment Specialists, job coaches, employment counselors, Psychiatric Rehabilitation Counselors, attorneys and therapists to ensure beneficiaries are able to obtain and maintain employment. She advocates for clients with the Social Security Administration, the Department of Social Services, and other state and federal agencies whenever necessary. Ms. Shepley is a vendor with the Division of Rehabilitation Services, and a member of the National Association of Benefits and Work Incentives Specialists.
